André Marchand (born 10 February 1907 in Aix-en-Provence; died 29 December 1997) was a French painter associated with the School of Paris and one of the founder members of the Salon de Mai. He was born a few months after the death of Paul Cézanne, and the landscape of the region around Aix would remain a lasting point of reference for him.

Marchand lost his mother in 1918. He attended the Jesuit secondary school where his father taught mathematics, and he began painting at the age of fourteen. His first watercolours took the Montagne Sainte-Victoire as their subject, the same mountain that Cézanne had made one of the central motifs of modern painting.

The available source says little about his later work, his mature style or his individual exhibitions, so these aspects cannot be described with confidence here. His role in founding the Salon de Mai nonetheless places him among the artists who helped renew French painting after the Second World War.
