Benjamin P. Cooper (born in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1982) is an American artist best known as a musician under the name Radical Face, though he is also described as a painter. His visual vocation dates back to childhood, when he drew and painted often. By middle school he had started making short films with friends and playing music.
The available sources say little about his painting: they mention no exhibitions or specific canvases. What is documented is that, after a period in which he wanted to become a writer, he turned to music and made it his profession. His biggest success is the 2007 song "Welcome Home", from the album Ghost, which gained wider attention after appearing in an advertisement for Nikon cameras.
Besides Radical Face, he has been part of Electric President, Iron Orchestra, The Clone Project and Unkle Stiltskin. His most visible legacy lies in music, but drawing and painting have been part of his creative path from the start.
