Bharti Dayal (born 1961 in Samastipur, Bihar) is an Indian artist known for her work in Madhubani art, the painting tradition of the Mithila region in north Bihar. She was born in Samastipur, a district associated with this technique, and holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in science. She has lived in Delhi since 1991.

She learned Madhubani painting as a child from her mother and grandmother, and has practised it professionally since 1984. She has sought to bring innovation to the Mithila tradition while keeping its roots, and trains women artists from the region at her studio in New Delhi. Her style brings contemporary themes to classic Madhubani compositions and uses modern media such as acrylic on canvas, although she paints with natural, vegetable-based colours. Her renderings of Krishna and Radha are said to convey undercurrents of love, longing and peace.

She has held many exhibitions in India and abroad. A documentary on her Madhubani art was shown on French television in 1995, and a show of her acrylic-on-canvas works painted between 2015 and 2016 was organised by the Museum of Sacred Art (MOSA). Seven of her paintings appear in the book The New Bihar, where the cover illustration, showing a girl on a bicycle and a fish, refers to women's empowerment and diversified agriculture. She received the AIFACS Millennium award and a National Merit award in 2006 for excellence in handicrafts.
