Axel Cristóbal Jodorowsky (1965-2022), also known as Cristóbal Jodorowsky, was a Mexican actor, the son of film and theatre director Alejandro Jodorowsky and the brother of Brontis and Adán Jodorowsky. As an adult he took the name Cristóbal in the context of his practice of psychomagic. For about twenty years he worked as his father's assistant, a period that shaped his training in tarot, psychomagic and Zen. He trained in acting, dance and performing arts at schools such as Marcel Marceau's, the Grotowski Teatr Laboratorium and John Strasberg's Actors Studio.

For Cristóbal, theatre was also a therapeutic tool. His psychotheatre works included collective practices of reconciliation with parents, aiming to let audiences release repressed emotions. He became best known for playing Fénix in Alejandro Jodorowsky's avant-garde horror film Santa Sangre (1989), which earned him a nomination for the Saturn Award for Best Actor. He also appeared in Quantum Men, a documentary on psychoshamanism directed by Carlos Serrano Azcona. In 2007 he published the autobiographical book El collar del tigre, which reportedly reached more than a million downloads.
