Leila Ameddah (born in Batna, 21 April 1962) is an Algerian sculptor and painter whose work belongs to the currents of semi-abstract art and Lettrism. A self-taught artist, she is by profession a dental surgeon and has lived and worked in Batna, in the Aurès region. Her inspiration draws on traditional, Aurasian and Berber sources, alongside her experience in dental reconstruction.

Her first exhibitions took place during her student years, between 1983 and 1989, and from 1984 onward she has taken part in national and international shows. Notable among them are a solo exhibition at the University of Batna in 1984, a two-person show with her sister, the engineer Hafssa, in Constantine in 1987, and, in 2003, a display within the Year of Algeria in France, held in Nice, Lille and Lyon. Her work has also been shown in Saudi Arabia and at Islamic art and Arabic calligraphy events.

In Algeria, her pieces have appeared in salons and galleries in Algiers, Annaba, Sétif and Skikda, often in group exhibitions dedicated to Algerian women artists. Her legacy lies mainly in spreading contemporary Algerian art beyond the capital and in her role as an artist who joins regional tradition with a modern language.
