Deodato Taumaturgo Borges Filho, better known by his pen name Mike Deodato, is a Brazilian comic book artist born on May 23, 1963, in Campina Grande, Paraíba. The son of comic artist Deodato Borges, he became known in the North American comic book industry, where he has worked on superhero series for decades.

One of his first works was a photo-realistic comic adaptation of the television series Beauty and the Beast, published in 1993 by Innovation Publishing. His breakthrough came with Wonder Woman, written by William Messner-Loebs, during which he co-created the character Artemis of Bana-Mighdall. He then drew Thor, Glory for Rob Liefeld's Extreme Studios, and Marvel titles including The Incredible Hulk, The Amazing Spider-Man, New Avengers and Thunderbolts.

In the mid-1990s his style was strongly reminiscent of Jim Lee's. Over time he moved toward a simpler, photo-realistic and sometimes moody approach. He also drew Dark Avengers and Secret Avengers, the latter with writer Ed Brubaker, and worked on the Original Sin crossover in 2014.
