Parsa Pirouzfar (born in Tehran in 1972) is an Iranian painter who studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Tehran, starting in 1991 and graduating in 1997. He is best known as an actor, theatre director, playwright and translator, but his training in the visual arts is the starting point of his creative path.

He was drawing comic strips as a teenager and, after leaving school, has worked periodically in sculpture and graphic design. Alongside his painting studies he also began acting, with a small film role in 1994 and a stage debut in 1995.

Apart from painting, his best-known work is Matryoshka, a Persian-language satire based on stories by Anton Chekhov, which he wrote, translated and directed and performed alone, playing more than thirty characters. It premiered in Los Angeles in 2015, toured cities in the United States and Canada, and closed its run in Tehran in 2017, the year it won him the Best Actor award at the Fajr International Theatre Festival.
