Viking Dahl (Osby, Scania, 1895 - Varberg, 1945) was a Swedish composer, though he is also credited with activity as a painter and writer. The sources available for this entry do not detail specific works in those fields. He trained at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm from 1915 to 1919, and then continued his studies in Copenhagen and Berlin.

During a stay in Paris in 1920, he wrote the dance drama Maison de Fous for the Ballets Suédois. There he met radical French composers of the day, among them Darius Milhaud and Maurice Ravel. His avant-garde approach had already taken shape during his years in Stockholm.

On returning to Sweden, he settled in Varberg, where he worked as an organist and choir director and lived until his death. He is remembered chiefly for his music, while his painting is barely documented in the sources consulted.
