Wang Yi was a Chinese painter of human figures who worked during the Yuan dynasty (1271-1368), around the 1330s to 1360s. He was born in Muzhou, present-day Jiande in Zhejiang province, and lived in Hangzhou. He matters because he developed a distinctive way of painting figures, aiming for sound form and a lively spirit.

He was known by the style name Sishan and the pseudonym Chi Juesheng. His most cited written work is The Secrets of Painting Human Figures (写像密诀), in which he set down his experience of the genre. Accounts differ on his death: some give 1362, while others state that the date is unknown.

His legacy rests chiefly on that treatise, which preserves a personal approach to figure painting in Yuan-period China.
