Würth Collection

Germany · 7 works · 4 painters

The Würth Collection is the art collection linked to the Würth company, based in Künzelsau, Germany, although the record gives no city for the collection itself. It holds over 18,000 works, from the 15th century to modern and contemporary art, mainly paintings and sculptures, and is considered one of the greatest private art collections in Europe. The works are shown in five museums in Germany and ten associated galleries across Europe, and admission is free. The website lists seven paintings: Holbein the Younger's Virgin of Burgomaster Meyer, Max Beckmann's Self-Portrait Yellow-Pink, Edvard Munch's Vampire, and four works by Peter Strüb, including Crucifixion and Anthony the Great.
