Indersdorf is an oil on canvas by Franz Marc, dated 1904, now held at the Lenbachhaus in Munich. Marc stayed several times in Markt Indersdorf, in the Dachau district, while he painted it. The year before, he had travelled to France and encountered Impressionist painting for the first time. Back home, he abandoned his studies at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts and was looking for a personal style built on lighter, more intense colour. The upper part of the picture shows the Gasthaus zur Mühle inn in the village of Glonn, with neighbouring buildings behind it. In the foreground the river Glonn runs past, crossed by a bridge at the right edge. Long flower beds stretch between the inn and the water, and colourful laundry hangs on a fence separating the flowers from the road. Facade, fence and clothes shimmer in the moving water below. It is one of the few works by Marc that records a specific place in the landscape.
